Correna Ganzberg

Individual Therapist

Graduate Intern

I work with adolescents and adults who find themselves responding to life in ways they don’t understand, feel powerless to change, or find distressing. You may be currently navigating difficult life circumstances, or you may not be entirely sure why you’re seeking therapy.

No matter what leads you to therapy, my goal is to create space where you can explore even the things that are difficult to talk about – without judgment and at whatever pace feels right to you. I believe shame grows when we carry it alone, but acknowledging that shame with understanding and compassion can help us move through it.

Before beginning my training as a therapist, I spent a decade as a registered nurse supporting individuals and families through intense emotional distress, grief, and profound uncertainty. Those experiences shaped the way I show up with people: I am comfortable sitting with hard things and with the complexity of being human. I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship and strongly believe in treating people with dignity and respecting their right to make decisions about their own lives.

I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at the University of Washington while working as a graduate student therapist at Wayfinder Counseling. I expect to graduate in Spring 2027.

I identify as a queer woman and am raising a toddler-aged daughter with my very best friend (my wife!). Outside of therapy, you can find me in my own therapy (ha!), hyper-fixating on a handicraft, or spending as much time outside as possible (think: more sitting comfortably admiring a beautiful view, less climbing 10k feet to see it)!
