Cally Corey

Individual Therapist,
Licensed Social Work Associate, Independent Clinical

Hi, I’m Cally!  I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. I also have a special interest in supporting people who identify as neurodivergent, helping them honor their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world.

Being hard of hearing myself, I bring lived experience and sensitivity to working with people who live with disabilities. I understand how isolating it can feel when the world isn’t built with your needs in mind, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels truly welcoming and accessible.

Many of the individuals I work with struggle with feelings of “not being enough,” often measuring their worth against the expectations of society or others. In therapy, I help clients rewrite these stories, uncover their innate value, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others. I use a blend of approaches,  including cognitive and narrative techniques, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices, to meet each client where they are.

In addition to individual therapy, I provide couples counseling, drawing on the research and methods of Drs. John and Julie Gottman along with other relationship experts. I help couples strengthen their emotional connection, improve communication, and build practical skills to support a resilient partnership.

I earned my MSW from the University of Washington and previously worked at Crisis Connections, where I supported people in acute distress and completed ASIST suicide intervention training. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, walks with my partner, and caring for Francis, my axolotl; who sometimes makes a cameo in the background during virtual sessions.
