I am passionate about working with teens and adults in the LGBTQ+ community, although I hope to help all people who want to examine their inner world as well as explore beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve them.

I believe that all people are unique and that our stories can impact us in many ways. I hope to help you examine your story and unpack it in a way that feels safe for you! I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process and it is important to me that you feel safe throughout this journey. My area of specialization includes chronic illness and pain, disability, anxiety, and depression. I identify as a disabled, queer, veteran, and my own experiences related to religious trauma, the stigmatization of chronic pain, and my identity as a queer person are some of the reasons that led me to pursue a career in helping others.

I think that when we do something differently than a way that has not served us well, then change can start to happen. The behaviors and core beliefs we have may have been there for a long time and change can occur though exploration, challenging of thoughts, and learning new ways of thinking. If this is your first time or hundredth time going to therapy, I’m proud of you for wherever you are in your process!

I will graduate with my master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Washington University in August 2025. I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California, and I served in the U.S. Navy as a Mass Communication Specialist where I worked as a journalist. My passion for story telling as a journalist is what initially inspired me to work as a therapist as I found the stories of others to be deeply impactful. In my free time you can find me with my partner and our dogs taking a walk in the woods, listening to a podcast, reading a book, or watching a new show.
