Corinne McIntyre
I work with adolescents and adults who want to better understand themselves and feel more connected in their lives and relationships. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or others, often shaped by earlier experiences or an inner voice that feels critical or limiting. While each person’s story is unique, there is often a shared desire for healing and self-discovery.
I believe healing happens through safe, genuine connection and that the relationship we build in therapy is central to this work. I prioritize creating a space rooted in safety and attunement, where you can show up as you are and feel heard and respected. From there, we work collaboratively to build self-awareness, explore patterns, and support growth in ways that feel meaningful to you. Life is shaped by ongoing change, and within that change lies hope and possibility.
My work is grounded in compassion and a relational, strength-based approach that centers your humanity and resilience. As a social worker, I value social justice, inclusivity, and anti-oppressive practice, and am attentive to the social, cultural, and systemic contexts that shape your experiences and sense of self. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches to support you in deepening self-connection, building flexibility, and moving toward the life you want.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration from the University of Washington in 2024. Before social work, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington. I am currently a Licensed Social Worker Associate working towards full licensure in Washington State under the direct supervision of Jennifer Lee, LICSW (#LW00007904). Outside of therapy, you can usually find me reading an immersive book, spending time with my cat Frida, playing a video game, or rotating through one of many creative projects.
