Estee Odegaard
Individual and Relationship Therapist
Graduate Intern
I support adults, teens, and couples navigating major life changes, feelings of isolation, and anxiety and perfectionism in finding meaningful connection, self-acceptance, and tapping into their strengths.
I believe that everyone is the expert of their own life. What works best for one person does not work for another. When working together, every part of your identity and story is important to me, as your identity and socio-cultural experiences impact how you show up. I am here to meet you where you are at and to work as a team towards the goals that brought you to therapy. Reaching out is such a courageous first step. I hope to continue that brave journey with you by creating an environment of understanding, authenticity, and acceptance.
I believe there is so much power in human connection and being able to share aspects of yourself with absolutely no judgment. I believe that these moments of connection and acceptance create opportunities for us to challenge our thoughts. When struggling with anxiety or perfectionism, what we tell ourselves can greatly affect us. Challenging our thoughts and continuously practicing reshaping how we speak to ourselves may sound like a small change but can have a great impact.
I will graduate with my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Washington in June of 2027. I have experience working with adults and children experiencing crises and suicidal ideation. Outside of school, you can find me running and dancing, spending time with my sister, and trying out new restaurants.
