    Group Supervision

Are you new to the area or to clinical work? Wishing you had a group of therapists to connect with who were at a similar point in their professional development? In an employment setting where there is little or no supervision to count toward your licensure? Group supervision could be a great fit for you.

Group supervision not only increases your skill, but also helps you to grow professionally and emotionally. Participating in a group outside of your place of employment gives you freedom to explore areas for growth apart from employer or coworker dynamics. In a group that meets twice a month for two hours each meeting we will explore many aspects of being a therapist including transference and countertransference, boundaries, clinical documentation, crisis management, self-care, social justice issues, cultural competency, diagnosis and treatment planning, professional development and so much more! You will form relationships with others in the group and sometimes even hear about job or training opportunities that are available.

Group meetings are structured around clinical case presentations and provide an excellent opportunity to deepen your psychosocial assessment and therapy skills and to learn from the other group members. Groups are limited to maximum of 6 participants and meet virtually using Google Meet. Groups begin in January, May, and September and are currently offered every other Tuesday from 6:30-8:30pm. Members commit to a series of 8 group meetings at a cost of $500 for the 16 hours of supervision.
