Supervisor Level Therapist
Position Overview
Wayfinder Counseling is seeking a Supervisor Level Therapist who would like to continue to hone their clinical skills through 1-on-1 counseling and also support associate therapists in their professional growth through supervision. Supervisor Level Therapists are responsible for supervising and developing up to 6 associate therapists, holding a minimum client caseload of 15 clients. The Supervisor Level Therapist will provide weekly clinical supervision or consultations as needed to associate therapists, support therapists in professional and clinical development, and promote a positive work culture. The Supervisor Level Therapist must have a positive and supportive approach towards Wayfinder, its employees and clients. This is a full-time position requiring 30+ hours of work per week.

Job Responsibilities
Supervisor Level Responsibilities
Supervise and oversee clinical services of a minimum of six provisionally clinicians at any one time at designated office location or remotely.
Communicate and work closely with Onboarding Coordinator when new provisionally licensed clinicians start and throughout the new hire introductory period.
Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Wayfinder Counseling as a Supervisor Level Therapist; convey related information to provisionally licensed therapists.
Be proactive and responsible in training and holding provisionally licensed therapists accountable in note content and timeliness, and overall performance of their clinical job duties via weekly clinical supervision meetings.
Review and cosign all clinical notes for a minimium of six provisionally licensed staff.
Attend monthly group support with other Supervisor Level Therapists and Clinical Director to discuss and collaborate related to processes and/or procedures, clinical issues, and successes.
Provide formal weekly supervision in 1-hour intervals to provisionally licensed clinicians; supervising a minimum of six clinicians
Make independent decisions regarding the clinical support of provisionally licensed staff.
Rotating responsibility with other Supervisor Level Therapists and Clinical Director; facilitate 1-hour group consultation for all therapists and interns at Wayfinder up to twice per month on case consultation or a topic related to professional development and growth.
Engage in anti-racism and anti-oppression work; convey these concepts to provisionally licensed clinicians.
Other Supervisor Level Therapist/related duties as may be assigned.
Therapist Duties/Responsibilities (remaining hours/month):
Perform on-site or telehealth clinical counseling services to patients of Wayfinder as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Wayfinder.
Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Wayfinder website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Wayfinder or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by the end of each workday). Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
Attend mandatory staff meetings Monday morning at 10am, and other periodic training.
Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Wayfinder. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.
When not providing supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians, be available to hold a minimum of 15 patient sessions per week with 18 open spots.
Engage in regularly scheduled consultation with Clinical Director.
Other duties as assigned.
